SCIENTIFIC DAY UNDER THE THEME "QUALITY, TREATMENT AND RESTORATION OF WOOD, APPLICATIONS IN CRAFTS"

A noble, natural, ecological raw material that has the distinctive feature of being renewable, on the condition of preserving its resources, wood has always been omnipresent in our country throughout the different periods of its history. Our craftsmen have been able to highlight this ancestral material by carving it in geometric forms of great fineness and enhancing it with paint covering the upper parts of buildings such as mosques, medersas and other magnificent homes. In addition to the use of wood in architecture, millennia of know-how and skill are delivered to us through handicraft achievements in furniture and everyday objects.
