INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON "THE PATTERNS OF THE GEOMETRIC ARABESQUE"

The pattern called "Tastir" by our master craftsmen, is at the heart of the Islamic and Moroccan geometrical art. It interested and always interests great researchers around the world.
 
This symposium is an opportunity for Moroccan and foreign researchers to take stock of the state of art and knowledge in this field which is experiencing a revival since the recent discovery of amazing connections between this ancestral art and new theories in mathematics and crystallography.
